Where You Fit In

Firefighting/Rescue:

Firefighters and rescuers are at the heart of our operations. They respond to emergencies, including fires, vehicle accidents, and rescues. Members in this category receive extensive training in firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and emergency medical care. This role is perfect for those who are physically fit and eager to be on the front lines.

Non-Emergency Administration/Support:

Not all vital roles require being on the front lines. Non-emergency support roles include administrative tasks, fundraising, event planning, and logistical support. These positions are crucial for the smooth operation of the department and are perfect for those who want to contribute but prefer a behind-the-scenes role.

Drivers and Pump Operators:

Take charge of our fire engines and other vehicles, ensuring we reach emergencies quickly and efficiently.

Big Truck Mechanics:

Use your skills to maintain and repair our fleet, keeping us ready for any situation.

Services and Opportunities:

BLS EMS:

Basic Life Support (BLS) EMS focuses on providing essential medical care such as CPR, first aid, and basic medical interventions. Our BLS team ensures immediate care to stabilize patients until further medical help arrives.

Firefighting/Rescue:

Firefighters and rescuers are at the heart of our operations. They respond to emergencies, including fires, vehicle accidents, and rescues. Members in this category receive extensive training in firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and emergency medical care. Rescue Squad/Heavy Rescue:

Be part of specialized rescue operations, including vehicle extrications incidents. Gain expertise in using advanced rescue tools and techniques.

Wildland Firefighting:

Fight wildfires with our specialized forestry truck and equipment.

Fire Suppression:

Operate our engines, tanker, and forestry trailer to combat fires, including wildland and grass fires.
